RESPONSE Doctoral Programme (DP) «RESPONSE - to society and policy needs through plant, food and energy sciences» is funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under the Marie SkÅ‚odowska-Curie Grant Agreement No 847585.

28 research projects contribute through their inter-sectoral research to European coordinated efforts for stewardship in transformation to SUSTAINABLE FOOD SYSTEMS, TRANSITIONS IN THE ENERGY SECTOR and to ensure SUSTAINABLE LAND USE DECISIONS.

In RESPONSE DP researchers interact with stakeholders, policy-makers and the public to make sure that research is responsive to the needs of society and the necessary transformations for fulfilling the Sustainable Development Goals. As part of the research process all research project co-create knowledge for policy-relevant outcomes. Policy outcomes or innovation will be integrated in the impact channels of 27 policy-related partner organisations.

RESPONSE DP builds on the academic expertise of three world-leading institutions - ETH Zurich, University of Zurich and University of Basel - and the three internationally renowned competence centers Zurich-Basel Plant Science Center (PSC), the World Food System Center and Energy Science Center

Within the RESPONSE DP community channel we share research outputs, slides, images, datasets, research protocols, videos, reports, posters, softwares and codes as well as the policy outcomes of the research projects.
