RADx Initiative Zenodo Community
In 2020, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) launched the Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics (RADx®) initiative to accelerate the development, commercialization, and implementation of COVID-19 testing technologies. Through multiple programs, the RADx initiative expanded testing capacity across the United States and improved access for populations and communities most affected by the pandemic. One-page summaries of RADx program accomplishments are available here.
The RADx Initiative Zenodo Community serves as a public archive for selected non-data resources developed through RADx programs. These materials are intended to preserve and share knowledge, tools, reports, software-related materials, and other public-facing outputs generated during the initiative.
This community includes archived public resources from three RADx programs:
RADx Data Hub
The RADx Data Hub developed infrastructure, tools, documentation, and other public materials to support the curation, harmonization, discovery, and analysis of COVID-19 study data across RADx programs. All data from RADx programs previously stored in the RADx Data Hub have been migrated to Vivli. A list of all studies and links to their corresponding pages in Vivli is available here.
RADx radical (RADx-rad)
RADx-rad generated public resources related to innovative approaches for improving COVID-19 testing technologies and strategies. For a full list of RADx-rad resources available in this community, see the RADx-rad asset inventory.
RADx Underserved Populations (RADx-UP)
RADx-UP developed community-engaged resources to support equitable public health research, outreach, and implementation. These include the RADx-UP Playbook, which highlights best practices, lessons learned, and practical resources to inform future public health emergency responses. The Playbook is available in English, Spanish, and with appendices. The RADx-UP asset inventory allows users to quickly browse available RADx-UP resources and their intended audiences, including academic, community, and NIH/funder audiences.
Additional RADx content is available at the following sites:
- The NIH RADx website provides an overview of the RADx initiative and its programs.
- Vivli provides access to RADx study data and study-level information for researchers seeking data access. A spreadsheet listing all RADx Data Hub studies and their corresponding Vivli links is available here.
- The RADx Data Hub GitHub organization provides access to source code and software repositories related to the RADx Data Hub.
