Postsecular Conflicts investigates the dynamics of transnational norm mobilization by moral conservative actors, and in particular the role of the Russian Orthodox Church. The publications gathered here are about various aspects of this moral conservative norm mobilization: the venues (NGOs, United Nations Human Rights Council), the actors (the World Congress of Families, Global Home Education Exchange), the issues (family, abortion, sexuality & gender, education, religious freedom). The publications also address the question how to frame this phenomenon theoretically (postsecularity, postsecular conflicts, norm entrepreneurship) and theologically (conservative ecumenism, ecumenism 2.0).

This community collects publications which have received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (POSEC, grant agreement no. ERC-STG-2015-676804, PI Kristina Stoeckl, host: Innsbruck University).
