Submissions to the community of the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg (OVGU) are reviewed by the community curators and accepted when the following criteria are met. This community supports Open Science and encourages submissions that adhere to the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable).
Affiliation

At least one contributor is a member of the OVGU (students, doctoral researchers, academic or administrative staff) at the time of publication.

The OVGU affiliation must be stated correctly and in full in accordance with the Richtlinie für die standardisierte Angabe der Affiliation bei wissenschaftlichen Publikationen.
Content and Metadata

The submission is a scholarly research output with a clear connection to research activities at OVGU, including research data, software, publications, presentations, posters, reports, or related materials.

An appropriate, preferably open licence is specified (e.g. CC BY 4.0 for publications and data; a recognised open-source licence for software).
Procedure

Submissions that do not meet the criteria will be declined with a brief explanation; contributors are welcome to revise and resubmit.

The curators reserve the right to withdraw or remove a record from the community even after acceptance, in particular where copyright infringement, exposure of sensitive personal data, or a breach of research integrity standards has been established.
Legal Responsibility of Submitting Persons
In accordance with Zenodo's terms of use, full legal responsibility for all submitted content rests with the submitting person. OVGU and the community curators accept no liability for copyright infringements, violations of personal rights, or any other legal breaches arising from submitted content.
By submitting to this community, the submitting person confirms and represents:

that they hold or have obtained all rights necessary to publish the content under the specified licence, and that no intellectual property rights — including copyright — of any third party are infringed; third-party material is clearly identified and all required permissions have been secured

that the submission does not violate any existing agreement, including confidentiality obligations or restrictions on publication arising from funding, collaboration, or publisher contracts

that all co-authors have given their explicit consent to the publication in this form

that the submission complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and that personal data have been appropriately anonymised or that explicit consent for their publication has been obtained
The submitting person shall hold harmless and indemnify the community curators and OVGU against any claims, damages, or costs brought by third parties arising from a breach of the above obligations, including costs of legal proceedings.
