Digital developments have changed the life of researchers in many ways, leading to new forms of exchange, communication, interaction and collaboration. These changes evolve into the current Open Science movement, which aims at making science more open, transparent und accessible. Today, open science is a significant aspect in science and therefor should be considered in scientific education. Open science allows students to be part of the scientific community and even actively engage in it, for example when scientists will recognize their accessible works and theses.
