The Observatório Oceanográfico / Oceanographic Observatory — UFF is an academic and scientific initiative based at the Universidade Federal Fluminense, Brazil.
The Observatório is dedicated to research, education, technical development, and scientific communication in oceanography, climate science, marine geology, environmental monitoring, remote sensing, and related areas of Earth and ocean sciences.

Mission
The Observatório Oceanográfico aims to strengthen the production, organization, dissemination, and reuse of scientific knowledge related to marine, coastal, sedimentary, and climate systems.
Its activities combine field observations, laboratory analyses, computational tools, data science, geotechnologies, and open science practices to support research, training, collaboration, and public access to scientific information.

The activities of the Observatório include, among others:
- oceanography and coastal systems;
- climate change and climate variability;
- marine geology and sedimentary records;
- environmental monitoring;
- remote sensing and geospatial analysis;
- data science, artificial intelligence, and scientific computing;
