PEPR NumPEx Curation Policy

Purpose

The PEPR NumPEx community on Zenodo aims to foster collaboration and innovation in the field of exascale computing. This curation policy outlines the guidelines and standards for managing and curating content within our community to ensure high quality, relevance, and accessibility.

Scope

This policy applies to all content submitted to the PEPR NumPEx community on Zenodo, including datasets, software, publications, and other research outputs related to exascale computing. Submissions are currently limited to members, researchers, engineers, and PhDs working on the PEPR NumPEx program funded by the ANR.

Curation Principles

Quality and Relevance

  • Relevance: Content should be relevant to the goals and objectives of the PEPR NumPEx program, focusing on exascale computing, high-performance computing (HPC), and related technologies.
  • Quality: Submissions should meet high standards of academic and technical quality. This includes well-documented methodologies, clear and comprehensive metadata, and adherence to ethical standards.

Accessibility and Openness

  • Open Access: Where possible, content should be made openly accessible to promote collaboration and reuse.
  • Metadata: Comprehensive and standardized metadata should be provided to enhance discoverability and interoperability.

Ethical Considerations

  • Attribution: Proper attribution must be given to all contributors and sources, following established citation practices.

Preservation and Sustainability

  • Long-term Preservation: Efforts will be made to ensure the long-term preservation of valuable content, including the use of persistent identifiers and stable storage solutions.
  • Version Control: Significant updates to datasets or software should be versioned to maintain a clear history of changes.

Curation Process
