To support reproducible and transparent analyses on Flemish Natura 2000 (n2k) habitats (hab) and regionally important biotopes (RIBs), this repository groups several important basic data sources, designated as 'raw data'. Please note that the designation 'raw' only refers to the fact that these data sources serve as a starting point for pre-processing or analysis steps. However, they are usually the result of earlier processing steps that (typically) are not taken into account in the concerned analyses.
While several data sources are published here at Zenodo as an original data source, several other data sources are redistributions of (open) data that have already been published elsewhere. In that case, attribution and hyperlinks to the original data source and metadata are included.
File names are as much as possible standardized in relation to their use in analytical workflows, and should not change between different versions of a data source.
An associated repository (at https://zenodo.org/communities/n2khab-data-processed) provides several data sources which are derived from these raw data.
Functions to return several of these data sources in a standardized way into the R environment are provided by the R-package n2khab.
