This repository aims to make available data sets and software closely related to empirical research on musical performances. This may include (but is not limited to) timing / tapping data, codes, data reports, and tools to capture rather ephemeral aspects of musical performance (performed gestures such as vibrato, portamento). 

The repository is closely associated with the German / Austrian research network "Softwaregestützte Interpretationsforschung" (Software-Based Performance Research), which maintains a mailing list open for every researcher interested in the topic ("sg_interpretationsforschung@hmdk-stuttgart.de").
