Any datasets where the principal investigator is affiliated with Mälardalen University, or where Mälardalen University is the entity responsible for research are eligible for the community.

Required metadata fields are:

•  Resource type
  Please note that metadata will only be curated for datasets.
• Title
• Add author
  Include author affiliation and ORCID.
• Description
  Write a clear description of the dataset and how it’s been created/collected.
• License
  Choose a license for the dataset.
• Keywords and subjects
  Enter at least one keyword to describe the area of research the dataset stems from.
• Publisher
  Specify the principal research institution, using the organization’s English name.

Only data files for datasets that can be published openly can be uploaded to Zenodo. If the open dataset is under embargo, there must be an end date set for the embargo.

For datasets where the data cannot be published openly, no data files should be uploaded, not even with an embargo. Instead, follow the guidelines for the required metadata fields and upload a README-file with information specifying the restrictions for sharing the data files. Restrictions could be that the dataset contains personal data, trade secrets, copyrighted material, are subject to export control, or other ethical or legal restrictions.
