Welcome
Good news! The MANATEE Zenodo community is live. We’ll publish the first open dataset (with DOI) in the coming days. In the meantime, anyone involved in the project—and any authenticated Zenodo user—can submit a record to the community. Submissions are open, but every submission is reviewed by curators prior to being listed under the MANATEE community.

How to submit

Sign in / create a Zenodo account (ORCID, GitHub, Google, etc.).

Click Upload and prepare your record.

In the Communities field, add MANATEE to send it for curation.

Choose a license (data: CC BY 4.0; code: MIT/BSD/Apache‑2.0). Embargoes are allowed when justified.

Fill rich metadata (title, abstract, creators + affiliations with ROR if possible, ORCID, keywords, funding, methods, instruments, spatial/temporal coverage, version). Link Related identifiers (e.g., your article DOI) and attach a README.

Publish. Your record receives a DOI. Curators will review it; if accepted, it appears in the community.
Notes on visibility & review

Who can submit: any authenticated user.

Review required: yes—curators must approve community inclusion.

Openness: we recommend Open Access for data and documents by default, except when ethics/sensitivity require restrictions.
