The H2020 and BBI funded project MACRO CASCADE has initiated an international inter-project platform for seaweed-related projects. The idea is to share state-of-the-art knowledge and information about seaweed research, development and commercialisation.

In addition MACRO CASCADE will facilitate a meeting once a year to discuss the status in the field, identify mutual needs, develop recommendations (e.g. for policy makers) on seaweed related issues, and discuss how in a concerted effort, this industry can be brought further.
