The National Institute of Science and Technology in Digital Democracy (INCT.DD) consists of a network of researchers and universities that brings together and coordinates high-level scientific capacity to work in various fields of digital democracy and government.
The INCT.DD projects involve conducting studies, surveys, and assessments that support decision-making in planning and various phases of project implementation, with benchmark reports and recommendations for ideal procedures and formats (best practices) to be adopted; providing technical-scientific expertise in the form of advisory and consulting services; planning (preparation and design) and implementation of projects; development of digital solutions or supervision of technical development; development and application of evaluation tools; monitoring of ongoing projects and initiatives, including proof of concept and maturity assessment according to international standards; training of IT and project governance teams; qualified academic training for technicians and agents involved in project planning, management, and execution; assistance to government bodies in complying with legal requirements related to public and fiscal transparency and open government data, specifically those determined by Complementary Law 131 of 05/27/2009 (Transparency Law), Law 12,527 of 11/18/2011 (Access to Information Law), and Decree No. 8,777 of 05/11/2016, which establishes the Open Data Policy of the Federal Executive Branch.
