French national consortium for genomic surveillance and research about COVID-19 and other emerging infectious diseases (EMERGEN consortium). 

Established in January 2021 to develop a national infrastructure of genomic surveillance and research about SARS-CoV-2, the project should be extended from 2023 and cover other emerging infectious diseases.
