Curation Policy
This community is dedicated to collecting the scientific and technical outputs of the Evolutive Meshed Compact City (EMC2) project, funded through the Driving Urban Transitions (DUT) Partnership.
Who can submit
Submission to this community is restricted to members of the EMC2 consortium and their affiliated institutions.
Uploads from external users will not be accepted.
Curation and moderation
All submissions are manually curated by the four Principal Investigators of the EMC2 project:
- Giovanni Fusco – CNRS – ESPACE, France
- Valerio Cutini – University of Pisa – DESTeC, Italy
- Angelika Psenner – Technical University of Vienna – Urban Design Department, Austria
- Meta Berghauser Pont – Chalmers Technical University – SMoG, Sweden
Curators verify that:
- the submitter is a recognised member of the EMC2 consortium,
- the content is relevant to the project’s scientific themes (urban morphology, public space, 15-minute city, main street systems, spatial analysis, geodata, etc.),
- the content specifies that it was either produced within the EMC2 project and acknowledges the financing agencies of the EMC2 project (ANR, FFG, MUR, Vinnova and the European Commission through the DUT partnership), or coordinated with the EMC2 project but without project funds
- metadata and documentation are complete,
- the uploader holds rights to share the material under an open license,
- file formats are standard and reproducible whenever possible.
Scope of accepted materials
The community accepts:
- project deliverables,
- datasets and code,
- scientific publications,
- reports, presentations, and teaching materials,
- maps, models, and geospatial outputs,
- any research materials produced within the EMC2 consortium.
Rejection criteria
Submissions may be declined if:
- they originate from outside the EMC2 consortium,
- the material falls outside the thematic scope,
- metadata or documentation are incomplete,
- licensing is unclear or incompatible,
- files contain sensitive or non-shareable material.
