Digital Humanities im deutschsprachigen Raum (DHd), i. e. the Association for Digital Humanities in the German speaking regions, was founded in 2013. It understands itself as forum and formal representation of all those who in German speaking regions - independently from their scholarly disciplines -  are engaged, in research and teaching, with the field of Digital Humanities.

DHd is an Associate Organisation (AO) of the European  Association of Digital Humanities (EADH) which is itself a Constituent Organisation (CO) of the Alliance of Digital Humanities Organizations (ADHO).
