They were developed by the CLAUD-IT Consirtium based on ESPERANTO - ESR Guide for Clinical Audit in Radiology.

CLAUD-IT is set to elevate patient care across Europe by supporting EU Member States in implementing clinical audits, with a focus on radiology and nuclear medicine. CLAUD-IT connects hospitals, authorities, and societies in 9 Member States to develop clinical audit guidelines, methodology, and supporting documents. This initiative will train over 250 professionals, empowering them to lead audits and improve healthcare quality and safety across the continent. CLAUD-IT is supported by ESR and EANM.
