The Cancer Early Detection Advanced Research center (CEDAR) was launched in June 2016 as a collaborative institution within the Knight Cancer Institute at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). Our mission is to detect and stop lethal cancers at the earliest stage because early detection saves lives. CEDAR researchers combine a deep biological understanding of early disease with emerging detection technology, leveraging OHSU’s world-class microscopy facility and strength in precision oncology, immuno-oncology, and genetics research. CEDAR brings together people from different scientific disciplines to accelerate research progress and to improve the lives and health of our global community.
