The CBRAIN platform is a web-based, collaborative research platform designed to address major issues in “Big Data” neuroinformatics research through a single consistent framework by providing researchers the ability to easily execute large-scale pipelines for computational research. In operation since 2009, CBRAIN provides over 900 researchers with transparent web access to the over 100 million hours of high-performance computing (HPC) for neuroinformatics analysis.  The CBRAIN platform’s primary objective is to provide a user-friendly, extensible, integrated, and robust yet lightweight collaborative neuroimaging research platform providing transparent access to heterogeneous computing and data resources available across Canada and around the world.
