HELIOS – Haemoglobinopathies in European Liaison of Medicine and Science is a COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) Action that brings together clinicians, researchers, data scientists, patient representatives, and policymakers from across Europe working in the field of haemoglobinopathies.
The Action aims to strengthen collaboration between medicine and science to improve research, clinical care, and health outcomes for people living with haemoglobinopathies. HELIOS promotes the development and adoption of harmonised data standards, interoperable data infrastructures, and best practices in data governance, enabling the responsible use and reuse of health data across countries and disciplines.
This Zenodo community serves as the open-access repository for research outputs generated within the HELIOS COST Action, including datasets, surveys, reports, working group deliverables, training materials, presentations, and other relevant resources. By providing a central, curated space for HELIOS outputs, the community supports open science principles and facilitates transparency, reproducibility, and knowledge sharing within the wider research and healthcare community.
