The National Research Center for Technology in Agriculture (Agritech) is a Consortium with a Hub&Spoke structure, made of 24 public and 4 private Universities, 5 Research Centers and 18 Companies covering a wide range of expertise and subjects. With a starting grant entirely covered by EU PNRR program[1] of about 320 million euros over 3 years, Agritech has been established in response to the global need to combat the effects of climate change, reduce the environmental impact of agriculture, and enhance productivity and sustainability through the application of enabling technologies in the Italian agri-food sector. It brings together the best research expertise in Italy needed to tackle the diverse challenges associated with sustainable agriculture in a multidisciplinary context. The Agritech Hub headquarters is strategically located in the city of Naples.
