The length of the observation run is currently planned for three years with a possible extension. The BMK10k is a combination of a 30cm lens telescope with a 100 megapixel CCD camera resulting in a field of view of 7.25°x7.25° and a plate scale of 2.54 arcsecs per pixel in comparison with PLATO having 15 arcsecs per pixel.
