Stories in teaching foreign languegies to young learners
Description
Stories as texts are very important in teaching foreign languages to young learners because they provide opportunities for listening the same text many times and for multiple repetitions in a pleasant context. Stories contribute to the development of listening and speaking skills fostering children to react to what they hear. They make foreign language education funny, interesting, emotional and the illustrations exaggerate these features. Stories are a valuable resource in teaching foreign languages to young learners
