Description
This dataset was used to analyze the effects of marine heatwaves events and time series of seawater temperature on macroalgae local extinctions in the Northern Spanish coast.

Sp_response: latitude and longitude coordinates of persistence (1) and extirpated (0) macroalgae populations.
var_ : variables used to analyze the change between periods of SST for each species.
