Description

** Trombiculindus sp. 1

Material examined. Vietnam: Quảng Bình (Lệ Thủy, Lâm Thǔy)— Rattus type IV, Niviventer tenaster (March 2017, 28 larvae).

Several species were not included in this list due to the fact that the authors failed to obtain original descriptions: these species were only mentioned in Dr. Chau’s PhD thesis (1994): Leptotrombidium sciuridum, L. spinosum, L. mocchauensis, and L. babeensis; the same is true of L. blaoensis, L. vietnamensis, and Trombiculindus taynguyensis mentioned by Dat & Chau (2007).
