GPS based speed regulation system for vehicle in restricted area.

In our project, we developed a device that can track a vehicle’s location and speed. If speed is beyond a certain limit in a restricted zone, a monetary penalty will be sent via SMS. The purpose of this device is to increase the alertness of the driver and reduce the number of accidents on roads of our country. We measured speed and location utilizing a GPS module and display speed and the distance from the nearest restricted point in an OLED screen. So, when the vehicle is near the restricted area, if speed of vehicle is beyond a certain limit, the driver will be sent an SMS to reduce speed within safe limit. If he does not obey the speed limitation, he will receive a monetary penalty.
