EUDAT CDI: Data shared and preserved across borders and disciplines

EUDAT aims to achieve the shared and preserved data vision by enabling data stewardship within and between European research communities through a Collaborative Data Infrastructure (CDI). This infrastructure offers European researchers and practitioners from any research discipline a trusted environment to preserve, find, access, and process data. The CDI is a common model and service infrastructure that manages data spanning all European research data centres and community data repositories.

EUDAT supports the goals of the conference offering open and seamless services for storage, management, analysis and re-use of research data, across borders and scientific disciplines that increase reproducibility and interoperability of data.

The poster highlights the heterogeneous research data management services and storage resources, supporting multiple research communities as well as individuals in increasing the reproducibility and interoperability of their data, through a geographically distributed, resilient network distributed across 15 European nations and data is stored alongside some of Europe’s most powerful supercomputers (B2 Service Suite). The poster includes demonstrator use cases that show the value of the EUDAT services for researchers. There is also an emphasis on how researchers can try the services, with most services having a freemium model (with a free version of the service with limited capabilities).
