When is a data citation NOT a data citation:  the good, the bad, and the machine-actionable

This presentation was given at the 20 Sept 2023 meeting of the Council for Data Facilities.

Shelley will be sharing lessons learned from the recent deep-dive efforts around AGU’s journal production workflow -- ensuring that the data supporting the paper is properly described in the availability statement with a machine-actionable citation in the reference section.  Frankly, this was to ensure we were in compliance with the COPDESS Commitment Statement.  It’s not pretty.
