Spatially resolved molecular gas and star formation at z=1
Description
We analyze spatially resolved observations of massive, normal star-forming galaxies in molecular gas and stellar properties. This rich data set allows a unique insight into sub-galactic scales around the peak of cosmic star formation at redshift z=1. In particular, the rotation curves as traced by the CO emission are compared to respective dynamical models which gives an insight into dynamical mass and intrinsic velocity dispersion values for these systems.
