Description

Zammara smaragdina Walker, 1850.

Specimens in the FSCA were collected in Guatemala, Petén at the Tikal Ruins. Specimens in the SDMC were collected at Honduras, Atlántida, El Pino, Morrañas Arriba, 12-VIII-1979 and specimens in the UGCA were collected at Honduras, Olancho, Dulce Mombre de Culmi, Montaña de Malacate, 26-VII-2001 and 11-VI-2003.

The species is described from Central America (Metcalf 1963a).
