Economically Based Product Process Patent Dataset (EPP)

This dataset provides the share of a patent's independent publication claims which are classified as process innovations as described in: “Product and Process Innovation in the U.S. from 1980-2015 and Over the Firm’s Life Cycle”.  The measurement is available for all patents granted to U.S. publicly traded manufacturing firms that appear in the DISCERN database.
