Description

This release contains an important bugfix that makes MOOSE ~2x faster compared to v2.0.1!

Bugfixes

  • fix regression introduced by 03bcfd0cf1 (major MOOSE slowdown + incorrect FreeRate rates in the output, trees and logLH were not affected)
  • fix FreeRate-EM optimization with tip-inner (e.g. in --ancestral mode)
  • fix segfault when empty arg is passed to --moose
  • do not allow automatic model selection if model and/or branch length optimization is disabled

Packaging note

This release is built with coraxlib 2.0.2, and terraphast-0.1.0 and htslib 1.19 (Ubuntu 24.04) / htslib 1.23 (macOS) .
