Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Training Survey Questionnaire

What is the Project About?
We invite you to participate in this study exploring how intervening variables like organisational justice, team cohesion, and bias awareness account for the relationship between diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) training and work-related outcomes. Your response will allow us to understand organisations' diversity and inclusion climate better, discover the workforce's belief in cultural beliefs about diversity, the extent of team diversity, and employee beliefs about diversity, explore the viewpoints of researchers who think DEIB training can work and researchers who believe it cannot, and current journals tend to be restricted to systematic reviews and need to focus more on predicting the effectiveness of DEIB training. This Research would be one of a kind in contributing to the empirical papers on DEIB training.

Who is doing the Research?
Steffi Yap, a Ph.D. candidate at Swinburne University of Technology, conducts this Research. The results of this research project will be used to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy at Swinburne University of Technology. There will be no costs to you, and you will not be paid for participating in this project.

Who will have access to my information?
The information collected in this Research will be treated as confidential and used only in this project unless otherwise specified. The following people will have access to the information we collect in this Research: the research team and the Swinburne University of Technology Ethics Committee.

All electronic data will be password-protected, and the information we collect in this study will be kept under secure conditions at Swinburne University of Technology for five years after the Research has ended, and then it will be destroyed. The results of this study may be presented at conferences or published in professional journals. You will not be identified in any results that are published or presented.

Will you tell me the results of the Research?
If the results of this study are presented at conferences or published in professional journals, you can obtain the full results by accessing the said platforms.

Do I have to take part in the research project?
Taking part in a research project is voluntary. If you decide to participate and then change your mind, you can withdraw from the project. If you choose to leave the study, we will destroy and disregard any information we have collected from you.

What happens next, and who can I contact about the Research?
Suppose you decide to participate in this Research. In that case, we will ask you to check off a checkbox to indicate you have understood the information provided in the information sheet before starting the questionnaire. By doing so, it is telling us that you know what you have read. It also indicates that you agree to be in the study and have your information collected and used as described.

After which, you will be then presented with a set of questions. You should spend about 15-20 minutes to complete the survey form. Please note the rating scale, which may differ from section to section.
