Description
The purpose of this essay is to analyze an approach to the construction of learning, through the articulation of two theories that correspond to Cognitive Load and significant learning. Thus, it is possible to establish a binding association between both proposed theories, given that both have the objective of obtaining efficient concretion in terms of relevance, assessment, and significance of student learning, as well as considering mental structures, information scaffolding as common principles. Between previous and new knowledge, in addition to the use of active methodologies that allow motivating and promoting student participation in the classroom. In short, the significant learner manages to be acquired when the teacher raises in a structured and sequenced way the different concepts that he wants to be learned through the application of active methodologies and educational strategies contextualized in the realities of the student body.
