Description

MarketPlace is an online digital platform connecting providers and consumers of materials modelling tools, services, and related data. Digital marketplaces in general are online platforms that support and streamline transactions between sellers and buyers of products and services. The aim of the Materials Modelling Marketplace is to orchestrate the exchange of tangible and intangible assets to accelerate innovation based on materials modelling.

MarketPlace emanates from an EU Horizon 2020 NMBP Work Programme call, H2020 NMBP-25-2017 - Next generation system integrating tangible and intangible materials model components to support innovation in industry. This call specifically asked for the establishment of a “web-based marketplace linking various activities and databases on models, information on simulation tools, communities, expertise, course materials, lectures, seminars and tutorials for at least two manufacturing sectors of the European industry.”
