265. Talorchestia martensii (Weber, 1892)

Type locality: Flores, Indonesia.

Synonyms: Orchestia martensii Weber, 1892.

Distribution. World: Indonesia (Weber 1892), Red Sea (Fishelson 1971), India (Barnard 1935).

India: Western India Ecoregion: Kerala (Barnard 1935; Dev Roy et al. 2009); Arabian Sea (Surya Rao 1972);

South India Ecoregion: Tamil Nadu (Nayar 1966; Thilagavathi et al. 2013); Eastern India Ecoregion: Tamil Nadu (Nayar 1959; Mondal et al. 2010; Lyla et al. 1998; Venkataraman 2007; Thilagavathi et al. 2013); Andhra Pradesh (Barnard 1935); Odisha (Chilton 1921); Northern Bay of Bengal Ecoregion: Bay of Bengal (Surya Rao 1972).

Remarks: This species cannot be identified with certainty from the original description. Until new material is described from the type locality, it is not identifiable.
