Distribution. World: New Zealand (Dana 1852), North Pacific Ocean (Lowry & Fenwick 1983), Subantarctic Waters (De Broyer et al. 2007), India (Chilton 1921).
India: Western India Ecoregion: Arabian Sea (Surya Rao 1972); Eastern India Ecoregion: Odisha (Chilton 1921); Northern Bay of Bengal Ecoregion: Bay of Bengal (Surya Rao 1972).
