Synonyms: Grubia microphthalma Chevreux, 1901

Distribution. World: Seychelles (Chevreus 1901), India (Sivaprakasam 1969b)

India: Western India Ecoregion: Arabian Sea (Surya Rao 1972); South India Ecoregion: Tamil Nadu (Sivaprakasam 1969b); Northern Bay of Bengal: Bay of Bengal (Surya Rao 1972).
