Pathological processes in the organs and tissues of the oral cavity are one of the urgent problems of modern dentistry. At the same time, special attention is paid to the study of their condition with changes in the functioning of organs and body systems, as well as the influence of climatic and geographical features on the functioning of the dental system. The general state of health of a pregnant woman, the state of the oral cavity and the dental system affect the harmonious and full development of the fetus. The purpose of the study. To study the condition of the oral cavity in pre-pregnant women. Materials and methods of research. The scientific research work was carried out with the informed consent of 55 patients. The study was conducted in the family polyclinic No. 2, 1 g of Samarkand, as well as in the Maternity Hospital No. 2. In order to analyze the condition of the oral cavity in pregnant women, a questionnaire was conducted. Changes in taste sensations were noted by 28 pregnant women (51%), most women did not notice discomfort in the oral cavity, 27 (49%). Increased salivation was present in 12 women (21.8%), increased tooth sensitivity – in 22 (40%), chronic generalized gingivitis was in 19 pregnant women (34.5%).
