96. Rhabdosoma armatum (H. Milne Edwards, 1840)

Type locality: Pacific Ocean, between Ambon and Tasmania.

Synonyms: Macrocephalus longirostris Spence Bate, 1858; Oxycephalus armatus Milne-Edwards, 1840; Rhabdosoma sanzoi Cecchini, 1929.

Distribution. World: Pacific Ocean (Milne Edwards 1840), India (Pillai 1965a).

India: Eastern India Ecoregion: Tamil Nadu (Nayar 1959; Venkataraman, 2007).
