Agricultural Technical Coefficients of IO Models that use Natural Resources

The research focuses on the input-output (IO) model for economies strongly dependent on natural resources. A novel methodology is proposed to compute the technical coefficients, based on real data, of the agricultural sector of Argentina. The methodology is compared with the one currently followed in the National Accounts Office. In the course of the investigation, a shadow supply function based on the random provision of natural resources is developed.
