Description
Potential of Water Hyacinth as an environmental management gadget.
Abstract: As a neglected aquatic weed, water hyacinth is profoundly obtainable in water bodies especially in water flows like rivers, canals, or lakes. Despite being cattle feed, high content of cellulose, hemicellulose would be the potential of the energy source as well as the intense harbor of wastewater management tools. Several reports have been depicted that water hyacinth-derived products can soak up heavy metals (e.g., nickel, lead, cadmium, arsenic, and so on) from the industrial effluent in different degrees. Besides this, as a growth media, hyacinth preparation could be an amazing ingredient for the fulfillment of nutritional requirements. In the case of Bangladesh, water is polluted unconditionally by human interventions. Surprisingly, the organic fertilizers might be generated from hyacinth particle that will reduce the pollution incident in the times of rainfall. We would like to present the state-of-the-art about water hyacinth in this study. However, this comprehensive review allows us to make a green strategy to save our water bodies as well as climate to attain sustainable development.
