THE ART OF VOCAL IMPROVISATION IN POP MUSIC: UNLEASHING CREATIVITY AND EXPRESSIVENESS

The article highlights the theoretical aspects of vocal improvisation in pop music. Based on the application of a wide range of methods (analysis, synthesis, generalization, systematization), the importance of vocal improvisation for pop music is presented, which consists in artistic individuality, improvement of musical communication, dynamic live performances, musical innovation and evolution, versatility and adaptability. The prerequisites of vocal improvisation in pop music are characterized.
