Description

All simulation usually considering no roughness fibers.
Surface scattering loss and as a consequence the confinement losses is invoked by silica surface roughness inside of fiber.
Roughness has detrimental effects on the fiber loss and on the relationship between HOM and FM Confinement Loss.
State-of-the-arts of this topic is next:
1. SSL is one of the limit dominant factors for short wavelengths.
2. Experimental works showed that SR in HCPCF can be controlled.
We performed simulation with transverse roughness and about finish with 3D.
