This is the data set used to conduct the analyses in the article published by the Journal of Medical Internet Research under the title "Characteristics of Users and Nonusers of Symptom Checkers in Germany: Cross-Sectional Survey Study" (https://doi.org/10.2196/46231)

This data set contains information collected of 1,084 respondents about their awareness, use, and usefulness of symptom checkers and several individual characteristics.
