MuonGalaxy - tools, workflows and more for muons and materials science

In this three-page poster and accompanying video, we - the Muon Spectroscopy Computational Project (MSCP) - present the results of ongoing work to use the Galaxy platform in the field of Muon Spectroscopy. The MSCP is a collaboration between the Scientific Computing Department and ISIS neutron and muon source at STFC in the UK. We develop Python tools for computational tasks in the field of muon spectroscopy, and started to use Galaxy in 2021. We are members of the Euro Science Gateway project, and have been supported in our efforts by members of the Galaxy Europe community.

The poster covers the tools, workflows and visualisations created for muon spectroscopy tasks, as well as discussing challenges we faced in bringing muon spectroscopy to Galaxy. This material was produced for and presented at the Galaxy Community Conference (GCC2023).
