Abstract: Sustainable tourism is a key contributor to the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN Agenda 2030. This is because of its positive impact on society, the economy and the environment. Blockchain technology is one of the most recent network-based technologies that have the potential to revolutionize sustainable tourism. The study aims to propose a framework for guiding the development of sustainable tourism through the use of blockchain technology. The study’s findings revealed that challenges associated with sustainable tourism could be addressed by blockchain technology. This study attempts to build a framework for sustainable tourism using blockchain technology.
