ウズベキスタンの鉄道開発思想と国際情勢
Description
ABSTRACT
In the Eurasian Continent, when a railway line that does not pass through Russia is built, the word "Russia away" is used. However, will we see a shift away from Russia in railways in Central Asian countries?
In this paper, I will focus on Uzbekistan's "railway facilities" and then "thoughts on railway development in Uzbekistan" to clarify the question.
First of all, Uzbekistan's railway development aims to complete the route within its own territory. Second, railway standards in Uzbekistan and Central Asian countries are the same as those in Russia. Thirdly, the railway route from Central Asia to Europe has better railway infrastructure via Russia. The Caucasus route is inferior to Russia in terms of facilities. Fourth, Europe-China freight traffic via Russia has not declined since the invasion of Ukraine.
