Euphyllura olivina (Costa, 1839)
(Psylloidea, Liviidae) (Abb. 2)
Material: Schweiz: 6 ♂, 4 ♀, Basel (BS), Brunngässlein, 47.552851 7.594476, 280 m ü. M. m, 26.5.2012, Olea europaea (D. Burckhardt) (NHMB, in 70% Ethanol); Adulte, Larven und Exuvien, Basel (BS), Rittergasse, 47.554815 7.594123, 270 m ü. M., 1.9.2016 und 28.9.2016, Olea europaea (D. Burckhardt & D.L. Queiroz) (NHMB, in 70% Ethanol).
Die Gattung Euphyllura Foerster, 1848 umfasst 11 Arten in Afrika, Asien und Europa (Ouvrard 2020), die, soweit bekannt, auf Vertreter der Pflanzenfamilie Oleaceae beschränkt sind. Sechs der Arten entwickeln sich ausschliesslich oder hauptsächlich auf Olea -Arten. Die Larven von Euphyllura olivina (Abb. 2a) leben auf jungen Trieben vom Ölbaum und zeichnen sich durch das Ausscheiden grosser Mengen von Wachs aus (Abb. 2b). Euphyllura olivina ist im westlichen Mittelmeergebiet weit verbreitet (Ouvrard 2020), wo sie auf ihrem Wirt schädlich werden kann (Burckhardt 1994). Aus Mitteleuropa (Deutschland, Niederlande, Schweiz, Tschechien) (Bieman et al. 2019) ist die Art zwar auch gemeldet, es handelt sich aber durchwegs um Tiere von Kübelpflanzen, die wahrscheinlich keine permanenten Populationen bilden.
