Description

Mathematica notebook containing equations and solutions for models of queen-worker conflict under varying conditions. The notebook derives the acceptance thresholds for both the queen and workers under the following conditions: monogamy, monogamy under split sex ratios, intermediate polyandry, and extreme polygyny. For each condition, the model examines the outcome when the secondary queen is either the queen's sister or the queen's daughter. Zones of conflict are identified if the queen and worker thresholds differ. Plots are also generated within the notebook in the relevant sections.
